Design & Decoration

Handle of the file can be decorated in many different ways and with different motives. The only sizes that cannot be decorated at the moment with hand-engraving, with silver or gold miniatures, and as well not with art Swarovski diamonds are the nail files long 140 mm and 200 mm. But all the other sizes of nail files you can decorate without limitation! Files can have different colours (see Coloured files). The motives can be printed or sand-blasted or if you or your clients care for a more original piece you can buy files that were decorated by hand, either painted or engraved (see Hand painted files and Hand engraved files). We can offer you a unique decoration with artificial jewels of the world renowned brand Swarovski® and with different shapes made of silver and on a request made of gold (see Files with Art Diamonds Swarovski and Files with silver / gold miniatures). This decoration gives the files an elegant look and the hallmark of a top class product.

Decoration on Wish

Handle of the file can be decorated on request of a client. For example with company’s name, logo, initials, or with signs and more or less any picture and symbol (depends on the proportional size and details of the selected picture to adjust its size for the size of a handle). These motives could be printed or sandblasted or as well hand-painted or hand-engraved or in case of sophisticated clients the handles can be decorated with jewels - art swarovski diamonds or silver / gold miniatures. Our client can decide for a specific colour of his files choosing from 11 colours. In case of printing and sandblasting all pieces will be identical, in case of hand-painting or hand-engraving the motif will be a little different with each file, because hand-painting and hand-engraving creates an original out of each file. You can select a motif out of our selection or provide us with logo, sign or a picture of your selection. The minimum order of any decorated file is 100 pieces of each decoration.

When ordering file decoration and sleeves it is important to specify the size and shape of the chosen files as well as all details of decorative technique. Coloured Files

Coloured files are very popular and look absolutely great. They come either in 1 colour or a combination of 2 or even more colours. Files of two colours are not manufactured in the smallest size of the 90 mm. Colour / colours usually slowly pass onto abrasive surface, creating amazing effect.

We can offer you 11 colours that you can choose from:

• magenta purple

Printed Files

Printing is the most popular technique for logo attachment, coloured logos, emblems and pictures. It goes without saying that for printing as well as hand painting are used harmless colours. Besides that they are very resilient baking colours with a long life span. There can be one or two colours used on the file depending on the size of the sign printed as well as the size of the file. Colour range is really wide, very nice is combination of basic colour scale together with white.

Files with a Company Logo

The handle of a file may be provided with any logo – using your selected font (name of a company, symbol or a specific motif), which might be applied, by printing (see Printed files) or sand-blasting (see Sand-blasted files). Either of these processes can be combined with colouring, e.g. with those colours that correspond with your company colours). There can be one or more colours used for printing the logo depending on the size of the logo printed as well as the size of the file. Our range of colours is really wide. That makes it possible to produce, e.g. a white printed logo (or sand-blasted one) on a pink background. These glass files with a logo are an excellent article for sale: a company can have their logo applied on files and then sell it as a part of their product-line (see Companies & Corporate Promotion and Perfumeries), but it is also a useful promotional giveaway or a publicity item e.g. for business partners.

Sand-blasted Files

Sandblasting creates an everlasting 3-D motif. Using this technique it is possible to create a wide range of designs, e.g. motives of flowers, animals, letters or company logos. Sandblasting can be combined with different colours according to our wide range. This technique creating decorations with plastic effect has an unlimited lifespan.

We can offer you two types of sand-blasting:

• The hand of the file is left clear and what is sandblasted is the logo, symbol or picture.

• The background of the logo, symbol, picture is sandblasted but the chosen motif stays clear (see the bottom photos).

Hand-painted Files

Hand-painted glass has a long tradition in Bohemia. In our standard collection of hand painted motives we offer numerous flowery designs, animals and different symbols and signs. There can be made decorations according to a client’s wish (see Decoration on wish). They are painted by professional painters who use special colour for glass which is then baked into the file. It goes without saying that for printing as well as for hand-painting are used harmless colours. An artist makes each file a unique and original piece of art. Variety of motives and colours is practically unlimited. We can offer you classic, modern and abstract motives.

Hand-engraved Files

Engraving is a traditional method of glass decoration and has always been a sign of prestige in the glass-making industry. In this case a 3-D motif is engraved into the handle of the file according to the given design. The only limit for the size and type of a motif is the size of the handle. Our motives can have quite refined details, though it must be admitted that a handle of a glass file, compared with other glass products, does not give the engraver much space for artistic expression. Nevertheless the file can be engraved by hand in accordance with the wishes of a client or a client can choose files from our selection.

Files with Art Swarovski Diamonds

Small jewel-stones are stuck to the file using a special ultraviolet sticking technology. We can offer you only the highest quality jewels from the prestigious brand Swarovski® (see Swarovski Sampler). Decorations by artificial diamonds make the files highly attractive and desirable. These files make an elegant gift or promotional item. This decoration is the best to combine with colouring and can also be combined with silver decoration or with hand-engraving (see Files with combined decorative techniques). You can choose from our selection or design your own jewel decoration.

When ordering please specify the size and shape of files as well as the type of a stone / stones (number, size, colour - see Sales Zone / Order) to be stuck to your files and the shape they have to create in case there are more of them. Specify, whether the files will be decorated by stones solely or in combination with other decorative techniques. Send us your motif in the format of “jpeg” along with colour or other specifications. Files with Silver / Gold Miniatures

To the most demanding customers we offer decoration of files with miniatures made of silver (or on a special request with miniatures made of gold) from our selection of letter of ABC or other shapes. It is a unique technique using the special technology when on the file there is fixed 3-D motive made of real silver (or gold). The range of motives is very wide and extends from the traditional motives like or fancy letters up to sophisticated miniatures very close to real jewellery. This way of decoration can be combined with colouring of one or more colours or – for more demanding client – with decoration with artificial jewels made by Swarovski® (see Files with combined decorative techniques).
