 SMALL GLASS NAIL FILES
Files of length 90 mm, also called ‘handbag file’ are perfect to carry inside ladies handbags and to have it ready for use whenever needed. The thickness of the glass for this model is 2 mm.
MEDIUM GLASS NAIL FILESFiles of length 115/ 135 mm are usually made from the glass 2 mm and 3 mm thick. Files long 140 mm are made only from the glass 2 mm thick. These all are mainly recommended for home use. Files of length 155 mm are usually made from the glass 2 mm and 3 mm thick. It is recommended for use in nail studios and beauty studios as well as at home. Medium glass nail files are as well the most suitable for all different types of decorations.  LARGE GLASS NAIL FILES
Files of length 195 mm and 3 and 4 mm thick are recommended for professional beauty salons, and are normally manufactured with 18 mm and 22 mm width across the file. Files long 200 mm and thick 3 mm are perfect for profesional manicure. They are very strong and very safe and gentle to use. The files with the width of 18 mm are recommended to use for treating all types of artificial nails (the 3 mm thick ones) and on hard skin around the heel area in pedicure (the 4 mm ones). File of length 195 mm and width 22 mm has standard thickness 4 mm. It is intended for pedicure mostly for the treatment of hard skin on feet. PLUSOur specialty is a feet hard skin scraper. Tips:  90 mm glass nail files in the combination with medium glass nail files of 135, 140 or 155 mm are successfully sold as a manicure set.
Favoured is a set of either one of medium sized files (115/ 135/ 140/ 155 mm) in combination with one of the large files of length 195 or 200 mm.
Filing sidesAll the sizes of glass nail files are manufactured with one or two filing sides except the file of 140 mm length which is produced only with two filling sides. The advantage of the two-sided file is the possibility to turn the file in the hand when filing nails. While professionals in cosmetic institutes prefer glass nail files with one filing side, because these do not harm the skin on their hands. Round or pointed endsAll the sizes of glass nail files are manufactured either with both ends rounded or one end pointed and one rounded. Exception are the nail files of 195 and 200 mm which have only round ends. The hard skin scraper has a round end, too. To use with children and for travel purposes to ensure higher level of safety, glass nail files with both ends rounded are recommended. For professional use it is recommended to use files with one end pointed, because the tip is very efficient in taking care of the under nails skin.
